Yes, that’s exactly what I meant. Non-profits, community and faith-based organizations that subscribe to the get a grant, save the day mentality are putting themselves on a welfare system.

Why?

Because the welfare system is designed to help people get on their feet; however, should you stay on this assistance, it is not up to another entity/person to decide how valuable your needs and your results are to the society/community at large.
